About

Port of Argentia is an industrial seaport with strategic focus on offshore and renewable energy, marine transportation, aquaculture, mining, and other sectors.

Argentia has established North America’s first monopile marshalling port in support of US offshore wind and we are expanding our portfolio by adding offshore wind turbine blades.

The Port has partnered with Pattern Energy to develop Argentia Renewables, a proposed multi-phased, 1.3-GW renewable energy project to establish an onshore wind-powered green fuels production facility for export of carbon zero green ammonia to European markets.

Argentia is the construction site of the Cenovus Energy concrete gravity structure for the West White Rose Project.

Cooper Cove Marine Terminal Expansion Project at Argentia, scheduled for completion by 2027, will see capital infrastructure investment exceeding $100M, including a concrete caisson dock with a minimum 13-metre draft featuring the latest innovations in decarbonization and port electrification.

The Port features 600 metres of docking facilities, 11 metre draft, and 1,000 hectares of industrial zoned uplands.
